Congratulations to our bass player Joseph Colley on passing 2 lots of grades over the summer!
Doing 1 exam can be hard work enough, but Joe has managed to do 2 and on the same day! He managed to get a Merit in his Grade 8 Electric Guitar and a Distinction in his Entry 3 level Drums.
Joe is very happy with his results and we wish him luck with the next ones.

As we start back with rehearsals we are overwelmed with the first rehearsal back. We have started to look at some new music including a piece being composed by our MD Tom.
We would like to remind members that rehearsals are held every Wednessay during term times held at Clayton Academy, Newcastle, ST5 3DN. We set up from 7pm and rehearsals start at 7:30pm.
Each week members will need to remember to bring their instruments, music stands, refrehments (non-alcoholic), music pads and pencils.

NULCO is proud to announce that it's 5 year anniversary concert has finally landed!!!
The event will hear some of the members favourite pieces from over the last 5 years.
When: Saturday 16th July 2022
Where: The Bridge Centre, Birches Head

On Wednesday the 29th September, NULCO held its Annual General Meeting.
This was attended by all members in which the New Committee was voted in.
Discussions were also had about the new website and Member Area, Making Music Adopt a Music Creator Project and our Christmas Concert.

The group performed at Hanley Park invited by Martin (Barritone Sax Player) on Saturday 11th September.
It was a great day and got a great crowd. We even managed to recruit a new violin player!
Keep an eye out for more busking oppertunities.
